Learning Nexus

1. Full-Year & Weekly Curriculum (Live Virtual & In-Person)

At this time: classes require one upfront payment for the full session in order to reserve a student’s seat.

24-Hour Full Refund Window
You are eligible for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase.

Partial Refund Period
After the 24-hour window, families may withdraw and receive a 50% refund of the tuition up to 14 days before the first class meeting.

No Refund Window
Refunds are not available within 14 days of the class start date (other than the 24 hour refund for new enrollments).

Missed Classes
Refunds are not provided for student absences.

Catch-up Materials
For Live Virtual classes, resources, handouts or materials are generally available in the classroom.
For Live In-Person classes, please contact the teacher for missed handouts or materials.

2. 1-on-1 Personalized Tutoring (Live Virtual & In-Person)

Tutoring sessions have a specific window to allow for instructor travel and lesson preparation.

• Cancellation/Rescheduling: Families can cancel or reschedule for a full refund up to 48 hours before the session starts.
• Late Cancellations: If you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled meeting, the session is non-refundable.
• No-Shows:

• Virtual: If a student does not join the meeting within 10 minutes of the start time, the teacher may cancel the session.
• In-Person: If a student is not present at the designated location within 10 minutes of the start time, the teacher may depart.
• Refunds: No refund will be issued for no-shows.

3. Self-Paced Courses

• Before Access: Full refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided the student has not yet accessed any course materials.
• After Access: Once the course content has been accessed or the “access period” begins, the course is non-refundable.
• Support Period: Courses typically include one year of access to materials.
  

4. Teacher-Initiated Cancellations

• Teacher Absence: If a teacher cancels a class due to an emergency, technical issue, or travel disruption, a prorated refund for that meeting will be automatically processed.
• Rescheduling: If a teacher reschedules a class meeting, parents have the option to accept the new time or request a full refund for that session.
